Don
Hendershot
Don hosts the Traditional Bluegrass Jam on Wednesday evenings
at Super Joe's 6:30pm to 9:00pm.
Small, friendly, laid-back with good BG pickin' and vocals encouraged. All levels.
Bring your guitar, resonator, banjo, mandolin, bass, or fiddle, and join us for a fun, no-stress jam! |
 |
Jeff Brinkman
One or two lyrics is generally all it takes for a room to
go from buzzing conversation to a whispering curiousity when Jeff begins the first song of the evening. A familiar
and inviting tone, along with a unique sort of light grit, provides traction for his songs to move off the stage
and into the hearts of his audience.
Oh yeah, Jeff also hosts our open-mic every Monday night, so come on out - even if you don't want to share the
mic you'll get to hear Jeff. |
|
Trinity Demask
Insightful, heartfelt, and enchanting only begin to describe
Trinity Demask. The Colorado singer / songwriter combines eloquent lyrics and soaring harmonies with expressive
instrumentation and a genuine, down-to-earth style. It is a soul-stirring blend of earthy Americana that is as
evocative, compelling, and ethereal as it is warm and accessible. Like sipping Irish coffee on the porch of a mountain
cabin at sunset, Trinity Demask’s music lifts your spirit and cures what ails you. |
|
Andy Ard
Andy Ard believes great songs are great songs, whatever the
genre. His feet are planted in the energetic pop rock of his heroes The Kinks and Elvis Costello, but his Atlanta
roots reveal funky, twangy, and even classical influences. David Barbe of Sugar described him as having the gift
of melody. Ard's sharp, vibrant original songs garnered a Westword Award nomination in 2001 for best singer-songwriter,
and more recently he was featured in Eric Shiveley's music documentary, "Everyone But You". |
 |
Merge Left
Mike, Ruth and Ed have been playing music together in various
groups for over 20 years. Most of the time they were singing and playing in small groups for church liturgies.
They also have performed in shows benefits and other related music venues over the years. These three artists formed
Merge Left several years ago and have been playing at coffee houses, restaurants/bars, walk run events, and corporate
events during this time. They have recorded two CDs, At the First Turn and their newest release Coming Together.
Both have folk and Irish covers and a number of original songs.. |
 |
Stewart Erlich of Wadirum
WadiRum was named by the band's leader, Stewart
Erlich, after
traveling for 6 months in the middle east. Wadi Rum is a region in Jordan where Erlich found himself miraculously
healed after suffering a debilitating illness during his travels in the desert.
The music is much like the region: raw, powerful, silent and loud in turns, and ultimately healing.
Each song Stewart performs is different, but the message is the same- the revelation of the human heart. |
 |
Steve Posey
Born in Kansas City, raised near Fayetteville Arkansas. Steve
effuses the melodic spirit of Chet Atkins and the fiery verve of Tommy Emmanuel with his own playing style.
Richly spirited, his arrangements raise the bar for steel-string fingerpickers. His choice of material shows his
love for a challenge. |
